The App requires access to your device's camera and/or photo library to capture or select images of event flyers and posters. This access is used solely for the purpose of extracting event information. We do not access your camera or photo library for any other purpose, and images are not stored after processing is complete.
Snap Share Events does not use any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect data for the purpose of advertising or marketing profiling. The App does not participate in any ad networks.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the App:
We take the security of your data seriously. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account information and transaction history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Crash log data is retained only for as long as necessary to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the in-app account deletion feature found in the App's settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active systems. Some data may be retained in anonymized form or as required by law. The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as promptly as possible. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
